China Insurance International Holdings Company Limited ("CIIH") is an insurance conglomerate incorporated and headquartered in Hong Kong.  CIIH is publicly listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 966).  CIIH's largest shareholder and parent company is China Taiping Insurance Group Company.  The principal activity of CIIH is investment holding and its major operating businesses are divided into four business lines carried out by different standalone subsidiaries and associated companies.  The four business lines are as follows:

  1. Global reinsurance business carried out by a 100%-owned subsidiary, China International Reinsurance Company Limited ("CIRe")

  2. Direct life insurance business in PRC carried out by a 50.05%-owned subsidiary, Tai Ping Life Insurance Company, Limited ("TPL")

  3. Direct property and casualty insurance business in PRC carried out by a 40.025%-owned associated company, The Tai Ping Insurance Company Limited ("TPI")

  4. Other businesses include asset management and reinsurance brokerage carried out by two 100%-owned subsidiaries, China Insurance Group Assets Management Limited ("CIGAML") and Sino-Re Reinsurance Brokers Limited ("Sino-Re"), respectively
